20 minutes peaceful journey of meditation

Did you know by spending just a little time preparing for your meditation, you can actually have a deeper experience in meditation? For your ease, the tips given below will help you prepare for your meditation. Once done, click on the guided meditation below to begin your meditation.1

#1 Choose A Convenient Time

Meditation is essentially relaxation time, so it should be done entirely at your convenience. So, after the meditation you do right now, for the subsiquent meditations, choose a time when you know you are not likely to be disturbed and are free to relax and enjoy.
The hours of sunrise and sunset, while nature transitions between day and night, are also ideal for the practice.

#2 Choose A Quiet Place

Just like a convenient hour, choose a place where you not likely to be disturbed.
Quiet and peaceful surroundings can make the meditation experience more enjoyable and relaxing.

#3 Sit In A Comfortable Posture

Your posture makes a difference too. Make sure you are relaxed, comfortable and steady.
Sit straight with your spine erect; keep your shoulders and neck relaxed, and eyes closed throughout the process.
That you have to sit in Padmasana (the lotus position) to meditate is a verycommon myth of meditation.

#4 Keep A Relatively Empty Stomach

A good time to meditate is before having a meal.
After food, you might doze off while meditating. However, do not force yourself to  meditate when you are very hungry.
You will find it difficult because of hunger cramps or you may even keep thinking   about food the whole time! In this case, you can meditate after two hours after having food.

#5 Start With A Few Warm-ups

A few warm-up or sukshma yoga exercises before sitting to meditate helps improve circulation, removes inertia and restlessness and makes the body feel lighter.
You will be able to sit steadily for a longer time.

# 6 Take A Few Deep Breaths

This is again preparation for easy meditation. Deep breathing in and out as well as doing some nadi shodhan pranayama before meditating is always a good idea.
This helps to steady the rhythm of the breath and leads the mind in to a peaceful meditative state.

#7 Keep A Gentle Smile On Your Face

You will see the difference.
A gentle smile throughout keeps you relaxed, peaceful and enhances your meditation experience.

#8 Open Your Eyes Slowly & Gently

As you come close to the end of the meditation, don't be in a hurry to open your eyes and start moving about.
Open your eyes slowly and gradually and take time to become aware of yourself and your surroundings.
Feeling lack of motivation or restlessness? Are emotions taking a toll on your personal and work life? Fill in the form below to learn more about how meditation can aide you in overcoming daily issues and improve your life.

Be focused with your loved ones

[caption id="" align="alignleft" width="480" caption="Tan Tra"]image[/caption]
In vamachara or the left handed path tantric sex involves yoni worship. It is not 2 bodies coming together but that of two energies kaal and kali. There are infinite number of paths to approach the infinite. The seeker of the truth will see it everywhere. A seeker of the truth and the bodhisattvas(destined for enlightenment) can take any path and will not be adamant about just one path ! Shiva worship is nature worship. Be focused , be present especially with your loved one ! tan tra is experience. Love is worship !

Beaware of the state when you are semi consious or half awaked

supta is the state when you are semi consious or half awake. You can hear voices but they seem distant. you want to move but you cannot. susupta is the state when you are fast asleep. samadhi is the state when all time ceases to exist. you are suspended in life. You can suspend your bodily processes and put yourself in a state where the time dimension is non existent ! Nirvana - the supreme goal of the soul ... Where time doesnt exist. namah shivay !
These days coroners and funeral homes are discovering that human bodies are staying fresh for longer times. This is due to all the preservatives we eat on a daily basis. Many of these are not natural and our bodies do not know how to process them. So they stay in the body forever hence preserving your body for a longer period of time after your death. The only problem is they get you there a little faster. You are what you think. You are a brahmin by thought and action !. What you eat can change how you think. Be aware ! nama shivay !

The eternal forces that permeates all life in the universe

[caption id="" align="alignleft" width="480" caption="Bhashma aarti"]image[/caption]

bhasmangadaraya ! vibhooti or bhasma has several symbolic meanings:

when we cover our body with vibhooti it creates an envelope to remind us of the external forces the worldly desires that wrap the self in maya, meaning worldly illusion and distractions . It also reminds us of how Shiva burned Kama (the god of desire) to ashes when Kama attempted to break Shiva's meditation (or break his cocoon of protection against maya ! ). In the Shiva Purana Vibhuti relates to Shiva and Red tilaka to Shakti(his consort Parvati). It is a constant reminder that Shiva and Shakti form the universe and everything is a result of the union of Shiva and Parvati. The eternal forces that permeates all life in the universe, the positive and the negative. bhasma or ash is also one of the purest forms of matter on earth as fire the great purifier burns everything to dust down to its purest form ! Mahakaleshwar temple ujjain madhya pradhesh. Mahakaleshwar is the only Jyotirlinga temple, where the Bhasma Arti is performed.

To be egoless does not means to be Inactive

image

how could society function, if thoughtlessness would be a permanent condition and in activity would prevail ? would society fall apart ?
Bhagawan: to be ego less does not mean that you become inactive. to be ego less means that the doer is no more. The observer and observed becomes one. You can see thru the fragmentation's or layers of experience programmed in your mind.It is as simple as this.Life continues even for those who transcend the ego but their actions are no more ruled by the 'I'.
adapted from chapter 2 verse 1 the Bhagawad Geeta by Osho
Humans have the tendency to beat their chests saying 'I','I','I' . This is your ego at play be aware ! This is advaitha. Aghoooraa ! Remember there is a whole universe inside you. discover thy self.

The third eye -site of intution

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="498" caption="Bindu"]image[/caption]

As per the thriumantiram tantra by thirumular who lived around 6000 BC, Bindu is the drop or point in which the energy is collected, and is known as the mass formed by the union of Siva and Sakti‟
(Sivasaktimithunapinda). Bindu, plays a role in awakening
kundalini, it merges into the energy gathered upon itself. It is the spot between your eyes . the third eye. The site of the pineal gland, the seat of intuition ! shakti and shiva are one at the moment of awareness or bliss ! Jai shakti , I want to be one with you !

Live strong and free close to nature

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="200" caption="but natural"]image[/caption]

chimpanzee politics is a book I read a while ago. It sheds light on human behaviors in a social or group setting. It was written after extensive research, studying our cousins who live in the rain forests of Africa. If you have the patience you should read it as you begun to relate. That is the eye opening part, that we are that close. Despite all our sunglasses , bikinis, jeans ,kurtas and saris . Despite all the avatars we wear during a day , that inside we are still so close to our cousins. Be aware of the fragmentation's in your mind. Live strong and free close to nature. Shiva worship is nature worship !

Concept of ideal worship

[caption id="" align="alignright" width="275" caption="Ideal worship"]image[/caption]

Idol worship started as a symbolism , as a representation of concepts. You capture the image of the idol or lingam and you close your eyes. you start focusing your good energy on this image in your mind which is good energy stored as memories in your brain and being retrieved triggering sadbhavana. This is the theory of idol worship. It is a technique and based on where you are on the spiritual path you can transition from faith in the external to what is internal . invoking these good memories in your brain is the goal of the satvik mind. The truths of life are simple. our ancestors on the sadhana discovered this by experimenting on themselves. Let us make sure this knowledge is not lost to our future generations in our rush towards creating wealth. The time is now. discover the power of love and the science of tantra !

Shiva lingam and universe

This is the linga at kedarnath. A linga resembles an elipse just like many other forces in the universe such as the electrons travel in elliptical orbits around a nucleus of the atom. Or planets revolve around elliptical orbits around their stars. Like the shape of the dancing flame of the candle or deepa which is elliptical , where you see no beginning or end . The symbolism of shiva the eternal the cosmic energy that pervades the universe !

The truth can not br taught

[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="259" caption="Yog is universe"]image[/caption]

A man came to libnani a sufi teacher
man: I wish to learn will you teach me
libnani: I do not feel that you know how to learn
Man: Can you teach me how to learn ?
Libnani: Can you learn how to let me teach ?

The truth cannot be taught .. but it can be learned. Tantra is experience. Words dont mean a thing until they are experienced on the sadhana !

Control 5 Senses and observe your mind

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="736" caption="5 Senses and their control"]image[/caption]

bhagawad gita 6:34: arjuna uvacha
The mind is erratic, disturbed, very powerful and stubborn. Oh krishna, I think that to control it is as difficult as trying to control the wind.
6:35: Shri krishna uvacha:
Oh mighty-armed one, indeed the mind is unsteady and very difficult to control. However, it is possible to control the mind by practice and detachment or vairagya, Oh son of Kuntî.
You can start observing your mind on the sadhana by first activating the muladhara chakra which is the beginning of awareness of consciousness and the workings of the mind. Unlike what modern science thinks, consciousness does not start in the brain, it starts in the muladhar. Thought precedes speech. The beginning of speech starts from an energy flow that begins in the muladhar. preceded by thought. This is the secret in tantra ! practice the muladhara bandha. Discover the light within. In hatha yoga it is called pratyahara or withdrawing into the inside shutting off the impact of 5 senses and learning how to observe your mind being controlled by the 5 senses. Like a charioteer of horses you can then begin to reduce the impact of maya on your mind and bring it under control. It takes practice. Tantra is experience

Problem is not ignorance but resistance

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="600" caption="the truth"]image[/caption]

man is ignorant ,blind, as if living in sleep, drunk, not aware. This has always been so. Many cures have been invented, many methods to awaken him. But he resists. so the real problem is not ignorance but resistance ! resistance against the brain washing and programming. Be aware of your conditioning. If you have been brain washed to think that sai baba is a suvar that is all you will become as well. Discover thy self. Be brave and courageous to face the truth. A tantrik has no fear of the unknown ! he is centered in the self ! stay strong on the sadhana Boom shankara! Jai shiva shankara ! Jai sai ram ! Jai guru !

Skull for begging bowl !

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="488" caption="begging bowl"]image[/caption]

shiva lived in the cemetery with a skull for a begging bowl. like an aghora who still follow in his footsteps on the sadahana in varnasi the eternal city of shiva ! it started during the stone ages at the end of the Pleistocene around 10,000 BC. Practice makes perfect. When you repeat the same techniques over time your genes record this . At the quantum level of the DNA you can alter probability distributions of the quantum fields and modify your epigenome. Discipline and shradda makes humans close to perfect like the mother adi shakti. Tantra is science. learn by experience !

Concept of love- One is not in love One is love

[caption id="" align="alignright" width="474" caption="love shiva"]image[/caption]

The concept of tantra is universal love . love for the atma/mind/self/consciousness/life energy. love for every jivatma around you and the paramatma, the eternal source of energy . nama shivay ! always be with him. Jai shiva shankara !

Love is not a relationship, love is a state of being; it has nothing to do with anybody else. One is not "in love", one is love. And of course when one is love, one is in love – but that is an outcome, a by-product, that is not the source. The source is that one is love.

Cycle of Death and Rebirth(त्र्यम्बकं मंत्र)

This mantra is a prayer to Lord Shiva who is addressed as Sankara and Trayambaka. Sankara means giver of blessings: (sana = blessings, Kara = the Giver). Trayambaka is the three eyed one, where the third eye signifies the giver of knowledge, which destroys ignorance and releases us from the cycle of death and rebirth.
