Shiva lingam and universe

This is the linga at kedarnath. A linga resembles an elipse just like many other forces in the universe such as the electrons travel in elliptical orbits around a nucleus of the atom. Or planets revolve around elliptical orbits around their stars. Like the shape of the dancing flame of the candle or deepa which is elliptical , where you see no beginning or end .
